South Florida is a game in back of Central Florida for the lead in the AAC’s East Division at 5-1 SU in conference play and it has to be careful not to look past this Thursday night’s matchup ahead of its regular-season finale on the road against the Knights on Nov. 24. The shining star on South Florida’s offense has been quarterback Quinton Flowers as the ultimate duel threat. Two weeks ago in a 37-20 road win against Connecticut, he threw for 385 yards and three touchdowns while adding another 131 yards on the ground. He has now thrown for 1,955 yards and 15 touchdowns against four interceptions. Flowers is second on the team in rushing with 751 yards and nine touchdowns on 145 attempts.
