The Cornhuskers once again failed to even make a run at a spot in the Big Ten title game with a 2-3 record both straight-up and against the spread in its final five games of the season. They closed things out with a tough 28-20 loss to Iowa as 2.5-point home underdogs as part of the Hawkeyes' impressive run to the conference championship this year. Nebraska went just 5-7 SU on the year with a 6-6 record ATS and the total went OVER in four of its last six games.

Nebraska will need a solid effort out of quarterback Tommy Armstrong to help end the season on a high note. He did throw for 2,856 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, but he only completed 54.8 percent of his 383 attempts while getting picked-off 16 times. The Cornhuskers will also need a much better effort from a defense that was ranked 75th in the nation in points allowed (27.8). Over their last five games this average ballooned to 33 points a game.

The bar was set pretty high for UCLA coming into this season and after an encouraging 4-0 SU start with a 3-1 mark ATS, the wheels started to come off with back-to-back losses to Arizona on the road and Stanford at home. The Bruins limp into this game with a 1-2 record (SU and ATS) in their final three games including an embarrassing 31-27 loss to Washington State on Nov. 14 as 11-point home favorites. Overall, they went 8-4 SU with a 6-6 record ATS. The total stayed UNDER in four of their last six games.

The key to UCLA ending its 2015 campaign on a winning note could be the play of quarterback Josh Rosen. He led a solid Bruins' passing attack with 3,351 yards passing and 20 touchdown throws. The offense was also able to move the ball on the ground behind Paul Perkin's 1,275 yards rushing and 13 touchdown runs. UCLA put-up an average of 32.5 points a game and its defense held opposing teams to 25.1 points.
