Missouri Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs Week 11 Pick
Betting Odds
<p>
The Georgia Bulldogs took a big step toward a spot in the upcoming SEC championship game with a win over Florida last week, and look to make another one when they host Missouri Saturday night between the hedges. The 'Dawgs are favored by better than two touchdowns for this one, but is that too much? And how are we playing this game with our free college football pick?

Week 11's college football betting odds opened Georgia at -21 over Missouri, with an over/under of 47. Early betting action then dropped that line down to -17.

<h2>
Tigers vs. Bulldogs Set-Up<br />
</h2>
<p>
Missouri is 5-3 on the season, owner of a two-game losing skid, after getting embarrassed in the rain at Kentucky two weeks ago 29-7. The Tigers then had last week off to stew.
</p>
<p>
Mizzou, favored by 9.5 points, fell behind to the Wildcats 22-0 at the half, scored a touchdown on its first possession of the second half but never got any closer, in a thoroughly disappointing performance.
</p>
<p>
On the night, the Tigers only managed 289 yards of total offense, one-quarter of which came on one play. Missouri also got out-rushed 297-125, lost time of possession by a 33:27 split, and basically shot itself in the foot several times.
</p>
<p>
Just prior to that game, the Tigers lost outright as 21-point favorites at Vanderbilt 21-14. So that five-game winning streak Mizzou fashioned into October almost seems like ancient history.
</p>
<p>
Missouri quarterback Kelly Bryant missed much of that loss to Kentucky after tweaking a hamstring in the first half. His status for Saturday is still uncertain, but it's hoped the off-week helped.
</p>
<p>
At 2-2 in conference play, the Tigers aren't dead yet in the SEC East race, with games against the two teams in front of them to play, but it's close.

<p>
Georgia, meanwhile, is 7-1 on the season, ranked No. 6 in this week's AP poll, after beating rival Florida last week 24-17. The 'Dawgs scored the first 10 points of the game, later pushed their lead to 24-10, let the Gators get within one score late but ran the last three minutes off the clock to preserve the victory and the cover as favorites of 6.5 points.
</p>
<p>
On the day Georgia out-gained Florida 398-278, held the Gators to just 21 yards rushing and dominated the time of possession by a margin of 36:24. But perhaps most importantly, the Bulldogs converted 12/18 on third downs.
</p>
<p>
Georgia has now out-gained and out-rushed each of its eight opponents this season, most by large margins.
</p>
<p>
Two weeks ago, the Bulldogs blanked Kentucky in a rainstorm in Athens 21-0, although they couldn't quite cover at -23.
</p>
<p>
At 4-1 in conference play, Georgia leads the SEC East by a half-game and a tie-breaker over Florida, but games against Auburn and Texas A&M remain.
</p>
<h2>
Tigers-'Dawgs Recent History<br />
</h2>
<p>
Georgia is 6-1 SU against Mizzou since the latter joined the SEC back in 2012, but the Tigers are 5-2 ATS over that span, keeping games closer than the "experts" predict. Last year the Bulldogs won in Columbia 43-29, but Missouri came up with a back-door cover as a 15-point home dog.

Missouri at Georgia Prediction 11/09/19
Missouri's covered four games in a row against Georgia mainly because the Bulldogs are just favored by too much too often. And that looks like the case here, especially with this game being played in Athens. The Bulldogs are coming off a big, emotional win last week against rival Florida but could be ripe for a letdown, to a degree. Meanwhile, after an embarrassing outing against Kentucky the previous time out, we expect better from Mizzou this week. Georgia's probably going to win this game, but we're taking the Tigers and the points.
