With Saturday’s important 30-27 victory against Navy, Memphis moved to 5-1 straight-up on the year. However, after failing to cover by a half point as 3.5-point home favorites, the Tigers slid to 2-4 against the spread. Houston closed as a 14-point road favorite against Tulsa on Saturday, but it was blindsided in a 45-17 beatdown that dropped its record on the year to 4-2 SU and 3-3 ATS. The Cougars have gone 2-1 both SU and ATS as home favorites this season and it has closed as favorites in every contest this season.

The Cougars have gotten some solid production from its ground game with an average of 161.8 yards per game. Duke Catalon has led the way with 431 yards and four touchdowns on 90 carries. Houston’s defense has been fairly stout with a points-allowed average of 21 PPG.
