Without question, Head Coach Chris Creighton has transformed this program into a formidable one as Eastern Michigan has an opportunity to finish with eight wins, their best mark since the Eagles produced a 10-win campaign in 1987 when EMU won the Mid-American Conference while they were at it. Eastern Michigan enters on a three-game winning streak.

For this reason, the market expects Eastern Michigan to hang around, and that can be a dicey situation for Georgia Southern to contend with as they have been in only two games this season that were settled by a touchdown or less.
