One of the top annual rivalries in the AAC will be renewed this Friday with the Central Florida Knights going on the road to face the South Florida Bulls. Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium is set for 4:15 p.m. and ESPN will carry the game nationally.

Central Florida passed its biggest test of the season with Saturday night's 38-13 victory against No. 24 Cincinnati as a 6.5-point home favorite. This win kept the Knights' perfect on the year straight-up at 10-0 and they improved to 7-3 against the spread. The total stayed UNDER 60.5 points against the Bearcats, and it has stayed UNDER in seven of their first 10 games. UCF is 2-1 ATS in three previous road games this season.

McKenzie Milton turned in another stellar performance on Saturday night with 268 yards passing and three touchdown throws. He also added a score on the ground to help pace this one-sided win. The Knights took a 21-6 lead into halftime and cruised to their SU 23rd win in a row after posting a perfect 13-0 mark last year. UCF is averaging 43.6 points per game and allowing an average of 20.4 points on the other side of the ball.

The Bulls’ were able to play Temple tough on Saturday in a 27-17 loss as 14-point road underdogs, but they could not avoid their fourth SU loss in a row following a perfect 7-0 start. They have covered in their last two games as part of a 4-7 record ATS. The total has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH in four of South Florida’s last six games. It is 1-4 ATS at home this season, but 3-1 ATS when closing as an underdog.

South Florida’s passing game was basically nonexistent against Temple with Blake Barnett throwing for just 82 yards on 14 completions. However, the offense was able to grind out 184 yards on the ground led by Jordan Cronkrite rushing for 83 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. The Bulls are averaging 203.1 rushing yards per game as part of an offense that is averaging 30.9 PPG. The problem heading into Friday’s tilt is a defense that is also giving up 30.9 points a game.
