The Jayhawks ride a four-game winning streak into Monday night after coming from behind to beat Baylor Saturday 87-71. Kansas came out cold, fell behind by 16 points, and trailed 45-32 at the half. But KU scored the first 10 points of the second half, took the lead for good at the 14-minute mark, and rolled from there to the victory and the cover at -6. Kansas shot 51 percent from the floor Saturday, held the Bears to 44 percent shooting, and won the turnover battle 11-4. Two games ago, the Jayhawks shot 54 percent from the floor, won at Oklahoma State 87-76, and covered at -1. Three games ago, they shot 55 percent, won at Oklahoma 78-55, and covered at -3. Going back a bit further, Kansas is 6-1 in both SU and ATS its last seven times out. At 10-4 in conference play, the Jayhawks are tied for the lead in the Big 12 with Texas. And at 22-5 overall, the defending national champs remain right in the running for a top seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament. The Frogs, meanwhile, just snapped a four-game losing skid with a 100-75 romp over Oklahoma State Saturday. That game was close early until TCU used a 20-4 run to lead 47-27 at the half. The Frogs then pushed their lead to 27 points early in the second half and cruised from there for the win and the money at -6. Texas Christian shot a torrid 68 percent from the field Saturday, hit 8/15 from 3-point land, and out-rebounded OSU 33-21. Prior to Saturdays win, the Frogs had lost four games in a row. However, injuries played a big part. At 7-7 in conference play, TCU sits in sixth place in the Big 12, three games off the lead. And at 18-9 overall, the Frogs look like good bets to make a return trip to the NCAA tournament. On the injury front, TCU guard Mike Miles returned to action Saturday after missing the previous five games with a trick knee. So the Frogs are back at full strength.

Kansas at TCU Betting Prediction ATS 2/20/23
Kansas struggled through a tough stretch a while back, but that came against some good competition, so we weren’t too worried. Now it looks like the Jayhawks are gearing up for another run through March. TCU, meanwhile, shot 68 percent from the field last time out; we seriously doubt the Frogs can pull that trick again Monday night. TCU spanked KU a month ago, but while we don’t usually regard revenge as a reliable handicapping factor, it might play a part here. We’re betting on the Jayhawks Monday night.
