Needless to say, Belmont won and did so decisively. Since then it’s been all academic for the Bruins.
Without question, the Bruins are hell-bent on emerging the champion of the Ohio Valley Conference and returning to the Big Dance, perhaps to make a bigger impact than many expect. Nevertheless, games like this can set up the Bruins for a humongous let-down.
