run and two hits through five innings, with three walks and eight strikeouts, in a 5-2 Chicago victory. Last year Cease hit 9/32 on quality starts, and the White Sox played 18-14 with him.<br />
In his only career start against Tampa Bay, back in 2019, Cease gave up four runs - all on one<br />
swing of the bat - on three hits and four walks through five frames of a 4-2 White Sox loss.<br />
Rasmussen is also making his second start of this season Friday night. Last Saturday, he gave up two runs and three hits through four innings of a 5-3 Rays win over Baltimore.<br />
Last year Rasmussen "hit" 0/10 on quality starts pitching for Milwaukee and Tampa, to go along<br />
with 25 appearances in relief. But he was actually very good for the Rays after coming over from<br />
the Brewers, posting a 2.44 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP through 59 innings with Tampa.<br />
