Dodgers vs. Braves Set-Up<br />

Los Angeles just took two of three games in Miami, missing out on the sweep by losing Thursday's series finale 13-7. Just before that, the Dodgers took two of three from Arizona, and just before that they swept three games from St. Louis. Going back a bit further Los Angeles is 6-0 over its last six series and 12-3 over his last 15 games.

At 81-42 overall the Dodgers lead the NL West by 19.5 games over both San Francisco and Arizona, and they're nine games up on Atlanta in the battle for the best record in the National League.

The Braves, meanwhile, just took two of three games at home from the Mets, missing out on the sweep by losing Thursday 10-8. Just before that Atlanta split four games with the Marlins, and just before that they took two of three from Minnesota. So the Braves are 2-0-1 over their last three series and 6-3 over their previous nine games.

At 72-51 overall Atlanta leads the NL East by 5.5 games over second-place Washington, and it's seven games up on the Cardinals and Cubs in the battle for the No. 2 spot in the National League.

This series is the second meeting between these teams this season; back in May, the Dodgers swept three games from the Braves at Chavez Ravine.

Friday's Starting Arms<br />

Last Saturday he held Miami scoreless on three hits through seven innings, although Atlanta eventually lost that game 7-6 in extra innings. And over his last three starts, he's allowed just four runs and 12 hits through 21 innings.
