Wednesday's Starting Arms<br />

Righty Montas, by our stringent standards, is 1/3 on quality starts this season, but he's actually pitched pretty well. Last time out, last Wednesday, he allowed three runs and three hits, although two of those left the yard, through six innings of a 10-3 Oakland victory. And just before that he held these Astros to two runs through five innings, although the A's lost that game 3-2. On the season Montas has allowed six runs and 13 hits through 17 innings.
