Just before that, the Mariners swept three games at Detroit, and just before that, they took three of four from Cleveland. So Seattle is 3-0 over its last three series and 9-1 over its last ten games.</p>
<p>At 76-58 overall, the Mariners lead the American League wild-card race by one game over second-place Tampa Bay, by two games over third-place Toronto, and by 4.5 games over fourth-place Baltimore.</p>
<p>This series is the second meeting between these teams this season. Back in April, the White Sox took two of three games from the Mariners on the South Side.</p>
<h2>Monday's Pitching Match-Up</h2>
