Chicago: Dylan Covey (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
Minnesota: Adalberto Mejia (0-1, 10.80 ERA)

Dylan Covey makes his Major League debut tonight in this division match up. He was taken by the White Sox in the Rule 5 draft after being in the Oakland A’s organization last season. Covey had a rough Spring Training as he had n ERA of 7.82 in 12 innings of work. While in the minors last season he had a solid ERA of 1.84 in going 2-1.

Adalberto Mejia goes for the Twins tonight and he hopes his 2nd career start is better than his first one. He did not make it out of the 2nd inning in his first start of the season not making out of the 2nd inning in a 6-2 loss to the White Sox giving up three runs and also walking two batters. Last season he was in the San Francisco Giants organization and after coming to Minnesota in a trade he only made one appearance for the Twins. He spent most of last season in the minors where he posted an ERA of 3.00 in going 9-5.

Chicago White Sox vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction
This one is a tough call with a couple of inexperienced pitchers getting the starting nod. The Twins took two of three from the White Sox already this season Chicago. While Minnesota has cooled off after a hot start they are still 6-3 and through nine games last season they had no wins. They have balance on the season and their pitching has been solid. However, I see Adalberto Mejia struggling again like he did in his first outing facing the White Sox and they will get to him again this time around. Covey was not sharp in Spring Training and he will have a decent MLB debut. However, the reason the White Sox will take this game is their lineup will stay hot and put up quite a few runs. Chicago will take this game, which will be their 3rd win in a row and send the Twins to their 3rd loss in four games.
