Madison Bumgarner gets the call for the Giants and he had a great last start in the NL Wild Card game with a complete game shutout in a 3-0 win over the New York Mets. San Francisco has won his last three starts. Bumgarner has the lowest post-season ERA in Major League history of any pitcher that has gone at least 25 innings. He opposed Arrieta early last month in the Giants win going six innings and giving up two earned runs in the 3-2 win. In his only other start against them at home he shut the Cubs down not giving up any runs and only giving up three hits in seven innings in a 1-0 Giants win. The Giants are 4-1 in Bumgarner’s last 5 home starts.
