<p>Chicago, meanwhile, just got swept three games by the Yankees in New York, losing Sunday's series finale 5-4. The White Sox trailed that game 3-0 early, tied it at 4-4 with a run in the top of the ninth, then lost it on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth.</p>
<p>However, prior to that sweep, Chicago had won three of its previous four series and 10 of its last 13 games.</p>
<p>At 26-19 overall, the White Sox are also ahead of pace, playing against their wins O/U of 90.5.</p>
<p>These teams met once last season when the Cardinals took two of three games from the White Sox in Chicago.</p>
<h2>Monday's Pitching Match-Up </h2>
<p><a class="advblue" href="https://www.sportsbettingstats.com/mlb/pitcherlog/40167&quot; title="Lance Lynn Pitching Logs">Lynn is 3/7 on quality starts this season</a>, and he's come close a couple of other times, too. Last Tuesday, he held Minnesota to two runs and five hits through six innings, although Chicago lost that game 5-4. And over his last three starts, he's allowed just three runs – two earned – and eight hits through 16 innings, with eight walks, which is a bit too much, but also 17 strikeouts.</p>
<p>The White Sox are 4-3 with Lynn this season, and they should be even a game better than that.</p>
<p>This will be Lynn's first start against his former team since 2018 when he was with the Twins, and that's already a long time ago.</p>

But over his four appearances before that, he allowed just four runs and 19 hits through 20 total innings, with four walks and 20 whiffs.</p>
<p>St. Louis is 5-1 with Kim this season, and he can claim a fair share of the credit for that.</p>
<p>This start will be Kim's first-ever against the White Sox, which could give him an edge, at least for the first couple of times through the lineup.</p>
