<p>Boston batted .264 against left-handed pitching this season, with a .329 team OBP and a .429 team slugging percentage. But JD Martinez (28 HR, 99 RBI this season) missed the wild-card game Tuesday with a bad ankle and is listed as questionable for Thursday night.</p>

<p>The Red Sox bullpen posted a 3.99 ERA this season, along with a 1.39 WHIP and a 2.37 K/BB ratio.</p>
