<h2>
Winnipeg Overview<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Bombers are coming off another convincing win as they beat down Ottawa 31-1 last week and covered again. They are currently the owners of a very lucrative 5-0 record ATS. The Tabbies had a week off after defeating Calgary 30-23 in a game where both special teams accounted for over half of the total points. The Ti-Cats also boasts a profitable record as well going 4-1 ATS on the season.

<p>
This meeting is the first between these two old Eastern division rivals who last met in Hamilton early last season with the Ti-Cats taking that contest 31-17. Winnipeg has shown it can win in the Hammer in recent history going 3-2 SU since 2014. Points seem to be at a premium in the series as the OVER is 2-8 in the last 10. The teams are deadlocked at 5-5 ATS.

It could be said that the Bombers haven't really beaten anyone good yet, and if they beat Hamilton, then we can say they are for real. There is some truth to that, but if we look at the way Winnipeg has been entirely dominating teams in back to back weeks, to me that is the mark of a very good football team. They haven't even needed their offense in two of their games this season; they could have won with the points they generated from special teams and defense. Undoubtedly this will be the stiffest competition they've faced so far, but they are a very solid team in all three phases, and they will not be an easy out.

<h2>
Hamilton Overview<br />
</h2>
<p>
Hamilton has been an up and down team for the last couple of years playing very well one week and then horrible the next. Having a chance to knock off an undefeated team at home on Friday night should be enough to motivate them to bring their best. The Ti-Cats have a talented football team and a very experienced coaching staff. They defeated the defending Grey Cup Champs 30-23 two weeks ago and have a 4-1 record SU and ATS, okay great. Let's talk about that win against Calgary, first for anyone that hasn't noticed yet, Calgary is a shell of its former self even with Bo Levi Mitchell under center, which he wasn't that game. Second, Calgary should have won that game, they were in control at half-time, but played very sloppy in the third and fourth and ended up losing. When you take away the Calgary victory, Hamilton's record isn't awe-inspiring either. On top of that the Tabbies are giving up 120 ypg on the ground, Winnipeg runs for 147 ypg. QB J. Masoli will have to play lights out and mistake-free for most of the game to give his team a chance.

<h2>
Weather Report<br />
</h2>
<p>
Like most places on the continent right now it’s going to be hot in Hamilton on Friday night, but it might also be windy. The way that Tim Horton's field is situated relative to the lake seems to create a perpetual breeze that blows the length of the stadium. Visiting teams facing the wind will often punt instead of trying long field goals, especially with Speedy "B" waiting in the end-zone for a chance to run one back. I don't see the wind having much effect on the spread, but it could play into the total.

<h2>
Injury Report<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Ti-cats will have to try to stop the Bomber run game without their star linebacker Simoni Lawrence in the line up as he is scheduled to begin serving a two-game suspension for a late hit. Winnipeg is expected to start the same offense and as long as Willie Jefferson plays (which he will) the defense will be fine.

Blue Bombers at Tiger Cats Prediction 07/26/19

When I look at these two teams after watching them play, I see two completely different creatures. One, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats who look like a talented Football team that plays good football, and then there is the other one, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers who look like a football machine that executes football commands. The Ti-Cats will be jacked up for this game and will probably hang around until half-time, but they'll make more mistakes than their opponent, and eventually, the wheels will come off. Give me the big blue machine, and I'll gladly lay the -2.
