The Hamilton Tiger-Cats off of a bye visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for their Week 7 game on Wednesday night at Investors Group Field. The CFL betting board has the visitors as -2.5 to -3 point spread favorite with the total up a tick from its opener at 50 points.

Hamilton should be well-rested for this interdivision clash coming off a bye week. The Tiger-Cats have won three previous road games this season both straight-up and against the spread while scoring an average of 36.7 points a game. In two losses at home (SU and ATS) this potent offense only managed to score a combined 27 points. Look for Jeremiah Masoli to make at least one more start for quarterback Zach Collaros, who is expected to be ready to go in Week 8.

The Blue Bombers have just two SU wins through their first six games, but both have been big upsets as nine-point road underdogs. The first was against Hamilton in Week 3 in a 28-24 win and last week they upset Edmonton 30-23. Credit the play of quarterback Matt Nichols for last week’s upset. He made the most of the opportunity to start in place of Drew Willy with 304 yards passing and one touchdown throw.
