<p>San Jose was able to take care of business on its home ice in the first two games of this series by doubling-up the Predators a combined 8-4 on the scoreboard. <p>Nashville has to hope that the change of scenery will change its fortunes in this Western Conference Semifinals showdown. The Predators won the first two games on the road in their opening round series against Anaheim before losing the next three contests. They prevailed in seven games with a 3-1 victory as slight +101 underdogs at home in Game 6 followed by an impressive 2-1 victory on the road in Game 7 as +149 underdogs. The total has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH in seven of their first nine playoff games.

<p>To get a much needed win on its home ice, Nashville is going to need a better effort from center Filip Forsberg. He led the team in both goals (33) and total points (64) in the regular season, but right now he has just one goal and two assists in the playoffs. Rinne has started all nine postseason games and his GAA stands at 2.48 with a .915 save percentage.
