<p>Washington was able to keep this series alive with Saturday's 3-1 victory in Game 5 as a -146 home favorite. <p>The Penguins fully realize that they do not want to make a return trip to the Verizon Center for Game 7. They were able to close-out the New York Rangers in five games with a convincing 6-3 victory in the series clincher as -178 favorites at home. Going back to the regular season, Pittsburgh went 26-11-4 at home as the second-best team in the Metro Division.

<p>Aside from scoring just one goal in Saturday's loss, the Penguins have gotten some solid production from their big-named stars in these playoffs. Sidney Crosby has three goals and seven assists in 10 previous games and Patrick Hornqvist leads the team in goals with 5. All told, there are 11 players with at least five points in the postseason. One of the biggest reasons why Pittsburgh is one win away from a trip to the conference finals is the play of goalie Matt Murray in relief of an injured Marc-Andre Fleury. In eight playoff games, Murray has a .937 save percentage with a 1.96 GAA.
