<h2>
Jaguars with Quarterback Issues<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Jaguars decided to bench Blake Bortles in the second half against the Texans and go with backup Cody Kessler. Losing 20-0, Bortles failed to move the ball on offense at all, completing just 6-of-12 passes for 61 yards and two lost fumbles that directly led to Texans touchdowns. It was time for a change as Bortles play has been erratic as ever this season, showing no signs of improvement, taking too many sacks by not getting the ball off and turning the ball over far too often.
</p>
<p>
However, with all of that said, head coach Doug Marrone announced Monday that the team is reverting back to Bortles as their starting quarterback Week 8 against the Eagles. Don’t be surprised if another quarterback change occurs if Bortles struggles once more this week> His leash should be very short.

<h2>
Jaguars Need Offensive Help<br />
</h2>
<p>
Kessler stepped in and did an okay job, completing 21-of-30 pass attempts for 156 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. It has certainly been a struggle for the Jaguars this season as while their defense has played decently well, their offense hasn’t been much help. The defense is first in the league as far as passing yards allowed goes only giving up 179.7 a game, but it’s almost a complete opposite against the run allowing 121.9 yards per game, 25th in the league.
</p>
<p>
The team decided to deal a 5th round pick to the Cleveland Browns for running back Carlos Hyde who sat in Week 7 against the Texans. The trade was due in part of Leonard Fournette’s lingering hamstring injury.

<h2>
Eagles Struggling to Run<br />
</h2>
<p>
Perhaps we see the Eagles make a trade for a running back as well before the October 30th trade deadline. The team has struggled to find a consistent replacement since losing Jay Ajayi for the season with a torn ACL. The team had been rumored to be interested in a reunion with Bills running back LeSean McCoy but could be delayed after suffering a head injury against the Colts.
</p>
<p>
The Eagles have tried to make it work with Wendell Smallwood and Corey Clement at the position, but neither can really be trusted thus far. Philadelphia ranks 21st in the league averaging just 102.9 rushing yards per game.

Philadelphia Eagles at Jacksonville Jaguars Prediction 10/28/2018
As much as Blake Bortles has struggled for the Jaguars, he does give them the best chance to beat the Eagles. Now, if he does struggle than he could be replaced once again for Kessler and with that uncertainty, we can't trust the Jaguars this week.
