<p>
We roll into the final week of the NFL season with three playoff spots open and 11 games that may impact a team getting into the playoffs or a team’s seeding. Week 17 usually has a lot of surprising results with clubs that have already sown up a playoff spot resting players or second half replacements if the likelihood of seeding improvement fades away. So, it should go without saying that this isn’t the week that you shouldn’t be laying down big.

<p>
Last week was a successful one with a perfect 4-0 record. We got the money on the Vikings point spread play, and the total and the Bills came up big getting a late TD to fall within the big line at Foxboro, and the Seahawks took advantage of the Chiefs suspect defense for a straight up win as a home dog.

Week 17 Picks<br />

<h3>
Dallas Cowboys at NY Giants<br />
</h3>
<p>
<b>Spread:</b> Giants -7 <b>Total:</b> 38.5
</p>
<p>
The Cowboys have nothing to play for and contrary to what Jerry Jones has gone on record saying that all starters will play, I believe at best the starters play the first half. The Giants do have something to play for, and that's pride. The G-men have dropped three straight to the ‘Boys, and they'll definitely be looking to get some payback this go around. They'll be without Odell Beckham Jr. again, but they managed to gain 309 through the air last week against the Colts and should be able to get their fair share today against what might be a second string unit for part of the game. It has just been reported that Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott is out making this play stronger.

<p>
<strong>Miami/Buffalo OVER 39.5</strong>
</p>
<p>
The Bills racked up 415 yards of offense in the earlier 21-17 loss to the Dolphins and should be able to surpass that total this time around. The Dolphins somehow got 21 points on 175 yards in the prior meeting, but I expect them to do better on the ground this week due to the absence of LB Matt Milano.

<h3>
Kansas City -14<br />
</h3>
<p>
The Chiefs haven’t played nearly as well in recent games losing three of their last five. In the two wins in that stretch, they needed late comebacks against the Ravens and today’s opponent the Raiders or they could be riding a 0-5 skid. That said, the Raiders come into this game on a short week after a big win over the Broncos. They were shorthanded in the secondary for that game, but Denver was missing seven starters on the offensive side of the ball and were not able to capitalize. The Chiefs are a completely different story. They need a win to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and they certainly don’t want to go into the postseason on a bad note. The line is big, but I believe with RB Spencer Ware* back and the motivational factors they win this going away.

<p>
*Note: According to NFL.com. KC RB Spencer Ware is not playing after other outlets reported that he was going to play.
