NFC West Showdown - Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams Pick - Betting Odds
Betting Odds
<p>
The Los Angeles Rams will host division rival Seattle on Sunday afternoon at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. This game features the top two teams in the NFC West, but there is still plenty of separation between the two teams heading into this game. The Rams squeaked out a 33-31 victory over the Seahawks in a game in Seattle earlier this season.
</p>
<p>
Los Angeles suffered their first loss of the season in week nine to the New Orleans Saints. The Rams still come in tied for the top record in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs at 8-1. Seattle has turned their season around after losing the first two games, and come in with a 4-4 record. The Seahawks might not be able to catch the Rams in the division, but a playoff berth is still a possibility for Seattle. The Rams are a whopping 10 point favorite in this matchup with Seattle.

<h2>
Gurley Leading Rams Attack<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Los Angeles Rams feature an explosive offensive attack, with Todd Gurley being the biggest standout of the group. Gurley is the leading rusher in the NFL so far this season, coming into this game with 868 yards on the ground. The former Georgia Bulldog has rushed for 12 touchdowns this season and has caught four touchdown passes as well. Gurley should find plenty of running room against a Seattle rush defense giving up more than 114 yards per game.
</p>
<p>
Los Angeles still has a top-10 defense this season despite giving up 45 points to the Saints in their most recent loss. The Rams have given up just 22.3 points per game this season, but have only forced seven turnovers so far this season. Aaron Donald has recorded 10 sacks through the teams first nine games, but the Rams need better production from this unit. Look for Wade Phillips to dial up some blitzes against Russell Wilson in this game.
</p>
<h2>
Seahawks Need To Limit Big Plays<br />
</h2>
<p>
The Seattle Seahawks have given up just 19.5 points per game this season, which ranks fifth in the NFL. The Seahawks had limited opponents to only 17 points in their previous two games before giving up 25 to the Chargers on Sunday. Seattle was burned by big plays in the Chargers passing game, which could prove costly in this matchup with the Rams. Los Angeles will throw the ball deep early and often in this contest and make the Seahawks prove they can stop them.
</p>
<p>
Offensively, the Seahawks have been getting the job done with their running attack. Seattle has averaged over 137 rushing yards per game which are top-3 in the NFL. Chris Carson has emerged as the top running back for the Seahawks, but quarterback Russell Wilson is always dangerous with his legs as well. Wilson has thrown for just 202 yards per game but has thrown 18 touchdown passes this season.

Rams Win Close Game
The Rams have shown signs of weakness in their last few games, and their defense got torched by the Saints in week nine. Todd Gurley and Jared Goff have been impressive on offense all season long, but LA needs more consistent play overall. The Seahawks have started to figure things out and should be competitive in this game. The Rams will win this game at home, but Seattle will keep it close.
