Two old foes will meet when the AFC East and AFC West clash as the New York Jets travel across the country to face off with the Oakland Raiders. The two teams last met in 2015 where the Raiders defeated Gang Green by score of a 34-20. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:05 PM ET at Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California, otherwise known as The Black Hole. The game will be televised on CBS for regional audiences.

The two teams come in on differing notes. In Week One, Oakland cruised past Tennessee in a 26-16 victory in Nashville. On the contrary, the Jets fell on the road in Buffalo when they were defeated by the Bills by a score of 21-12 at Ralph Wilson Stadium. For New York, the Jets are projected by some to go winless this season. Situationally, this contest sets up for takers to pay a premium if they wish to have a piece of the Oakland pie.
