Los Angeles Rams at Detroit Lions Pick - Odds and ATS Predictions
Betting Odds
<p>
The Los Angeles Rams enter their Week 13 matchup against the Detroit Lions, favored at -9.5 on the road. The Rams are tied with the New Orleans Saints at 10-1, for the best record in the league. They enter this week fresh off their bye week and take on a Detroit Lions team that currently sits last in the NFC North at 4-7. The Lions are losers of four of their last five games, but look to spoil the Rams in Week 13 and come away with the upset.

<h2>
Lions Remain at Home<br />
</h2>
<p>
This week will end a three-game home streak for the Lions, who are 1-1 over their last two games and 3-3 at home on the season. Detroit was without Marvin Jones and Kerryon Johnson against the Bears on Thanksgiving Thursday. Both Jones and Johnson have been two of the biggest contributors on offense for the Lions this season and need to get them back healthy for this matchup against the Rams. Jones is tied with Kenny Golladay for the most receiving touchdowns on the team this season with five, while Johnson has been very impressive on the ground this season for the Lions in his rookie season. Johnson has carried the ball 113 times so far this season for 641 yards and 3 TD’s, while also contributing in the receiving game with 32 receptions for 213 yards and a touchdown.

<p>
When you play a team like the Rams though it comes down to the defense making the crucial stops and the play of the opposing quarterback. Matthew Stafford has had a very underwhelming season, for his standards, with 2,841 passing yards and a 17:10 TD to INT ratio on the year. A significant reason for that was losing his top receiver, Golden Tate after the team decided to trade him to the Eagles in Week 9. On a side note, Tate has truggled in Philadelphia since the trade.

<h2>
Try Slowing Down Rams<br />
</h2>
<p>
As shown in Week 11's matchup between the Chiefs and the Rams, it's going to take everything you've got and more to beat a team like the Rams. In a crazy high scoring game, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs took the loss despite passing for 478 yards and 6 TDs. The Rams defense was able to pick off Mahomes three times and force two fumbles. This Rams team is exceptionally well coached by Sean McVay, and they bring it week in and week out. Jared Goff has been incredible, with a top-five ranking in passing yards with 3,547 and a 26:6 TD to INT ratio. Despite being held out of the end zone for the first time all season against the Chiefs, Todd Gurley still leads the entire league with 13 rushing touchdowns and tack on another 4 receiving touchdowns for him. The receiving corps is held down by Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods who are both closing in on 1,000-yard seasons.

Rams at Lions Prediction 12/02/2018
For a team like the Lions who allowed 10 sacks in Week 9 against the Vikings, who knows how many sacks Aaron Donald will rack up in this week’s matchup. Donald is an absolute freak, leading the league in sacks with 14.5 as an interior defensive lineman. There’s not much hope for the Lions in this matchup as we’re taking the Rams on the road this week.
