Aaron Rodgers can take quite a bit of credit for the Packers’ success during his tenure as Green Bay’s starting quarterback and if his team goes on to win this game and make any kind of run in the playoffs you can almost guarantee it will be because of his continued high level of play. Rodgers completed 28-of-38 attempts for 347 yards and four touchdowns in last week’s win against the Vikings to almost single-handedly get his team that win.

The Lions were in the driver seat in the division race following an early December victory against Chicago that was part of a SU five-game winning streak, but back-to-back losses (SU and ATS) to the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys on the road have evaporated that edge. The total went OVER 46.5 points in Monday night’s 42-21 loss to the Cowboys as 6.5-point underdogs after staying UNDER in their previous eight games.

One of the big reasons that Detroit is still in the hunt for a spot in the postseason has been the play of its veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford. It will be tough for the Lions to rely on a rushing attack that is ranked 30th in the league.
