The Chiefs then held off Cleveland in that divisional-round playoff bout, then beat Buffalo 38-24 to win a second straight AFC championship. But a banged-up Kansas City team then lost to Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl 31-9. So the trick for the Chiefs now is to get back to the level they were two seasons ago.
