<h2>
Spread Record/Total Record<br />
</h2>
<p>
Carolina is 1-2 against the spread this season covering in their road game in San Francisco and dropping back to back spread decisions at home (Week 2 vs. Buffalo. New England is 1-2 versus the number getting the money in Week 2 on the road in New Orleans, but not covering in either of their home starts (Week 1 vs. Kansas City and Week 3 vs. Houston). The Panthers have seen their games go 1-2 versus the O/U line with the only road game going UNDER. The Patriots’ games have all surpassed the allotted total line and at home in two matches they crushed the line going OVER in their season opener against the Chiefs by 21.5 and last week against the Texans once again by 21.5 points.

<h2>
Injury Report<br />
</h2>
<p>
Carolina: The Panthers will be without key offensive lineman C Ryan Kalil and starting RCB Daryl Worley. They will also may be without a slew of depth players at LB and DE.
</p>
<p>
New England: It’s always tough to get solid information on the Patriots. The key player to keep an eye on is MLB Don’t’a Hightower who has missed the last two games, but did practice in limited fashion this week. His return to the front 7 would be a big boost to their defensive unit.
</p>
<h2>
Public Money<br />
</h2>
<p>
Most of the public bets are coming in on the Patriots with just over 61% at time of writing. The total line wagering as is usually the case the public money is on the OVER with 63% of the action landing on that side of the line.

Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots Week 4 Pick ATS
The Panthers offense has been dismal this season averaging a meagre 15 points per game. They’ve yet to surpass 300 yards in total offense in a game and their pass blocking has been atrocious without Kalil allowing 10 sacks in their last two games! You know that no matter who the Pats face Brady will be able to put points on the board and the Panthers defensive play last week wouldn’t suggest that will change anytime soon. I rarely lay more than 3 points, but I believe this game sets up perfectly to lay the big number. The Panthers managed a combined 22 points against the Saints and the Bills and the Patriots just hung 36 on a good Houston defense. The same number they scored in the week before against the Saints. New England extends the margin here and gets the point spread cover.
