The Red Raiders are averaging 46 points a game, which is the second-highest scoring total in Division IA. The problem has been a defense that is allowing an average of 42.4 points a game.

It has been another disappointing season for the Longhorns with just four SU wins in their first 10 games. They have shown some signs of life with a 3-2 record both SU and ATS in their last five outings starting with that huge 24-17 upset against Oklahoma as 16.5-point underdogs at home. Two weeks ago they lost to West Virginia 38-20 as 9.5-point underdogs on the road. The total went OVER 53 in that game after staying UNDER in five of their previous six games.

Texas has really struggled to move the ball through the air this season with just 153.6 passing yards a game, but it has done a good job moving the ball on the ground with a rushing attack that is piling-up 213.9 yards a game. The Longhorns have not been nearly as proficient in scoring points with 27 a game and their defense has had its issues as well keeping opponents out of the end zone with an average of 29.9 points allowed.
