Utah State, meanwhile, rides a three-game winning streak both SU and ATS into Wednesday after beating Colorado State Saturday 88-79. The Aggies scored the first six points of the game and led 33-32 at the half. Utah State then pushed its advantage to 14 a couple of times in the second half and held on for the victory and the cover at -5. The Aggies shot 51 percent from the floor Saturday, although they also allowed the Rams to shoot 55 percent. But Utah State hit 18/39 from 3-point range and won the battle on the boards 31-26. Two games ago, the Aggies beat New Mexico 84-73 and covered at -4. Three games ago, they won at Fresno State 70-53 and covered at -5. At 8-3 in conference play, Utah State trails first-place San Diego State by just one game. But even at 19-5 overall, the Aggies sit on the Big Dance bubble, with work yet to be done.
