In the season opener Boston lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 102-99. Jaylen Brown was the high scorer for the Celtics scoring 25 points on 11/23 shooting, but missed seven of his nine 3-pointers. Cleveland’s LeBron James was the high scorer for the game going for 29 points on 12/19 shooting and he came one assist away from a triple-double with 16 rebounds and nine assists. The Celtics covered the spread as a 4.5-point underdog and the total of the game went Under.
