Chicago at Golden State Game Overview

The Bulls were able to raise their record to an even 26-26 both straight-up and against the spread with Monday’s 112-107 upset against Sacramento as four-point underdogs. They are now 3-1 SU in their last four games while covering ATS in all four contests. The total has gone OVER in all four games as well. Chicago is now 11-15 SU on the road this season with a 14-12 record ATS. It is 15-11 ATS this season when closing as an underdog.

The big question for Wednesday night is the availability of Jimmy Butler. He has missed his last two starts with a sore heel, but the Bulls remain optimistic he will be back in the lineup against the league’s top team. Veteran guard Dwyane Wade was able to fill the void against the Kings with a game-high 31 points and all five of Chicago’s starters ended the night in double figures. The Bulls are averaging 102.6 points a game, while allowing an average of 102.1 points at the other end of the court.

Golden State will be looking to rebound from last Saturday’s stunning 109-106 road loss to Sacramento as a heavy 14.5-point favorite. This snapped a SU five-game winning streak and the Warriors are now 1-2-1 ATS over their last four outings. The total stayed UNDER 225.5 points in that loss and it has stayed UNDER in eight of their last 11 games. Golden State returns home with a 22-3 SU record at Oracle Arena this season, but it falls to 13-11-1 ATS on its home court.

Stephen Curry ended Saturday’s loss with 35 points while going 8-for-14 from three-point range. He has now scored at least 29 points in each of his last four starts to raise his season scoring average to 25.6 PPG. Kevin Durant still has the slight edge between the two with 25.8 PPG. Klay Thompson is third on this list with 21.4 points, but his playing status for Wednesday remains up in the air due to personal matters. Golden State continues to lead the NBA in scoring with 118.2 PPG.

Chicago Bulls at Golden State Warriors Prediction
The Bulls have been playing better as of late, but they find themselves in a tough situation against a well-rested Golden State team coming off a bad loss. Things will only get tougher if Butler is unable to go. While I do have the Warriors coming away with the SU win on their home court, this game could remain closer than expected with Chicago back in form.
While the final betting lines for both the spread and the total will hinge on both Butler and Thompson’s availability for this game, I am pretty well set on the UNDER as my “best bet” play with both teams stepping things up on defense.
