Marcus Stroman gets the start for the Blue Jays in this game and in his last outing he was lit up for six earned runs four innings in an 8-7 loss to the Boston Red Sox. In his previous two starts he had only given up three earned runs in 15 innings of work. In three career starts facing the Angels Stroman is 0-1 with a less than impressive ERA of 8.74. Toronto Blue Jays vs. L.A. Angels Prediction
The Blue Jays have the fewest wins in the Majors and they had won two of three games before losing to the Angels in Game 2 of this series yesterday. They have struggled at the plate and on the mound this season and Stroman was lit up in his last start after a complete game in his previous one. Toronto recently got some more bad news, as SS Troy Tulowitzki, who leads the team in RBI, was just placed on the DL with a hamstring injury. Still, I think the Blue Jays bats will come alive in this game facing Wright. The Angels did win yesterday against the Blue Jays, but they have lost nine of their last 11 games. Stroman will have a decent outing and the Toronto lineup will be the difference maker, as the Blue Jays will win this game.
