Tampa Bay Rays vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Prediction
After winning three in a row the Rays have dropped their last two games where they gave up eight runs in each game. They are in 2nd place in the AL East three games back of the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. The Pirates had won two in a row before a loss in their last game. They have been a.500 club for the last couple of weeks and they are in 4th place in the NL Central five games back of the Milwaukee Brewers. Cobb got off to a great start this season, but has tailed off in the last few games. Williams has also not been overly impressive in his last three starts. The Rays have the better lineup and I think Cobb will bounce back and have a good start in this game and he has enjoyed a lot of interleague success. Tampa Bay will take the first game of this series and end their two-game slide.
