The Red Sox are 3-4 with Kluber this season, and that’s about what they should be, based on his performances.

In his most recent start against St. Louis, last year while pitching for Tampa Bay, Kluber allowed three runs through five frames of an 11-3 Rays win.

Mikolas is just 1/8 on quality starts this year but also not going too bad recently. Last Monday he only allowed one run through 4 1/3 innings against the Cubs but got pulled after 96 pitches. The Cardinals won that game 3-1. And over his last three starts he’s allowed four runs and 16 hits through 16 1/3 innings.

St. Louis is 4-4 with Mikolas this season, although that’s probably a game better than it should be.
