In Game 2 of this series yesterday the Pirates beat the Brewers 4-1. In the game the Pirates scored three runs in the first inning and starter Chad Kuhl got the win after going five innings and only giving up one run.

Previous to those four starts he had his lone season start against the Brewers giving up two earned runs in five innings of work in a 5-3 Pittsburgh win.

Chase Anderson takes the mound for the Brewers tonight and he gave up two earned runs in six innings in his last outing, which was a 5-4 loss to the Chicago Cubs. Milwaukee has lost three of his last four starts including his last two. Anderson had a solid start in the beginning of this month facing the Pirates going five innings and not giving up any earned runs in a 10-0 Milwaukee win. Anderson is 4-1 with an ERA of 2.39 ERA in his last 10 starts.
