Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees ALDS Game 5 Prediction
The Astros have lost the last two games of this series and it is knotted at 2-2 with the home team winning every game. The Astros bullpen fell apart in the Game 4 loss with the Yankees scoring five of their six runs off the relievers in the 7th and 8th inning. Houston was the highest scoring team in the regular season, but in this series they have only totaled nine runs. The Yankees have scored 14 runs in winning the last two games while they only totaled two in losing the first two games of the series in Houston. The Astros are the slight road betting favorite tonight and the main reason is that they have Keuchel on the hill. He dominated New York in Game 1 of this series and the Astros are 6-1 in his last seven starts against the Yankees and 4-0 in his last four road starts facing them. On the other side of the coin the Yankees are 0-5 in Tanaka’s last five starts against the Astros. Look for those trends to continue, as Keuchel will have another great start and lead the Astros to the Game 5 win, as they will head home to look to close out the series.
