Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox Prediction
The Tigers snapped their three-game losing streak with their win over the White Sox in Game 2 of the double-header yesterday. Their offense has been struggling lately, as they have only totaled seven runs in their last three games. Detroit sits in 3rd place in the AL Central five games back of the Minnesota Twins. The White Sox had won the first tow games of this series, after being swept in a three-game set against the Diamondbacks, before losing the 2nd game of the double-header. They are in 4th place in the AL Central only ½ game back of the Tigers. Zimmerman was decent in his last outing, but had struggled in a few starts before that. On the other side of the coin Gonzalez has really been struggling lately and while the Tigers bats have not been hot lately they will be in this game. Detroit will tag up Gonzalez in this division game and win and salvage a series split.
