Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals Prediction
The Cubs had won four in a row before losing in their last game of the regular season. Their pitching was solid at the and if the season, as in their last five games they only gave up a total of nine runs. The Nationals lost their last two games of the regular season and they lost four of their seven games against the Cubs this season. However, Strasburg has been great in the 2nd half of the season and he will be facing a potent Chicago lineup. He gave up a few earned runs to them in a win in June, but he will really tame their bats tonight and pitch a gem. On the other side of the coin Hendricks will not be as fortunate, as the Nationals will get to him early and often. Washington has lost five of their last six home playoffs games, but that trend will non continue. Strasburg will have another stellar outing and lead the Nats to a win in the first game of this playoff series.
