NBA Basketball Picks - Daily ATS Predictions
Do you like to bet on the games, but don't have enough time to properly handicap one game let alone the whole card? Do you find that your NBA picks don't win enough to turn a profit? Most beginners or novice sports bettors will answer "yes" to at least one of these questions. If that is you then you've come to the right place. If you didn't, then don't run off, we're sure that you could use our handicappers' opinions to get more of a consensus pick on the games or some tidbit on a matchup that you missed. Our team here at SBS use different methods to come up with their suggested point spread and total selections, but in the end each one offers up fully researched predictions that they feel offer the best wagering value on the betting board. Make sure you make SBS one of your daily stops for free betting predictions from the day's pro basketball card that you can bet on!
I’m not in the habit of laying such a big number, but the Jazz are beat up and will be playing their fourth game in six days. It catches up to them tonight at FedEx Forum.
The Warriors without Curry and playing back-to-back are not where my money is going to land. Lay the big number.
It's challenging to imagine the Wizards winning this game given the head-to-head record, present form of both teams, and their respective records the Blazers stand out. Plus Portland won the earlier match up in Washington by 8 making this 3 point spread certainly manageable.
The 7 points is a little high for me. The public is on the Raptors driving this up and that's certainly contrary to the trend of Toronto's not covering - 2-5 last seven. Orlando has been solid al lseason versus the line racking up a 33-24 record. The Magic keep this close versus a beat up Toronto team.
The Heat have won their last eight home games. I'm not about to fade that action against the Nuggets, who have been playing lukewarm basketball and aren't as good on the road. Heat -1.5? Sign me up!<
Miami beat Duke last week, then struggled with a bad Louisville team Saturday, allowing the Cardinals to shoot 58 percent from the field. We expect a better defensive performance from the Hurricanes Monday night. On the other side of this match-up, North Carolina hit 15/33 from 3-point range Saturday against Clemson. We’re doubtful the Heels can shoot like that again here. This one should be close, and we like the idea of a couple of buckets in our pocket. We like Miami, plus the points.
The T-Wolves have been playing good ball, winners of three of their last four games. The Warriors have done well too, but are vulnerable on the road and have no business being favored in this game. I'm betting the underdog Timberwolves at +3.5!
The Pheonix Suns are 3-11 straight up in their last 14 road games. I'm betting the San Antonio Spurs at +6!
The T-Wolves are 7-1 straight up in their last eight road games and are getting +3 Friday night against a team that has lost their last four games? YES PLEASE! I'm betting Minnesota plus the points!
Dallas doesn't blow teams out. Washington is going through turmoil. Matchup-wise, they can actually afford to lose Porzingis and Rui because Dallas doesn't play big. I still like to fade spots in which there's turmoil and chemistry changes so will be laying the wood with the Mavs at -7.5 Tuesday night.</p>

The Atlanta Hawks were rolling opponents before their surprising loss against the Hornets. I look for them to get back on track as +1 underdogs against a Chicago Bulls team that might have a hangover and tired legs from their travel to France, albeit it was on the 19th.
The Suns have been sucking. I'm fading them on any short spread until they show me they can put a couple of solid wins together. I'm betting on the Brooklyn Nets tonight.
In tonight's slate of games, I see the Clippers as a strong option to cover as road underdogs. There is no doubt that Los Angeles has been a disappointment this year, but that doesn't mean we can't cash in on them covering tonight as 6.5 point dogs.
For a west coast team to play yesterday in Chicago, travel, and play an early 3 PM ET back-to-back is a lot to ask. Even from a professional basketball team! We're backing the Wizards at +3 today!
As of Friday night, Jokic is listed as questionable. The line move tells me bookmakers are expecting him to sit. However, I like and am betting the Clippers either way
The Hornets have gotten creamed in four of their last five games. Toronto looks to be back on track after a stretch of struggles. I'm fading the public (67% on Cha) and laying the wood with the Raptors!
The Magic have been getting beat like a drum as of late. They actually have good value Tuesday night, though, as they have an inside presence, the Achilles heel of the Blazers, and Portland is returning home from a three-game road trip in which they had to fly all the way across the country to get home. I believe Portland will win this game, but start out sluggish, as most teams do in the first game after a distant and somewhat long road trip. With that said, Orlando plus the points for the first half is what I'm betting.

I think the loss of Devin Vassell really cripples the Spurs. He was quietly becoming a plus player in the NBA before having a knee issue. Betting the Pistons on the road is never easy, but they're playing better basketball as of late. I think Dwane Casey and Co. get a W here.
