Houston Astros vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Prediction
The Astros bats are on fire having averaged 9.25 runs per game over their last four games and I expect them to have some success against rookie Jameson Taillon tonight. Tallion has been pitching well, but he hasn’t faced much in his last six with five of his six starts against some the National Leagues weakest offenses. Doug Fister takes the mound for Houston and while he hasn’t had his best stuff over the last two his historical stats against the Pirates current roster is solid holding them to a .241 on base percentage over 83 plate appearances. I’ll take a shot on the road team here at plus money.
